AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT ABOUT RON WYATT by Jim Pinkoski

Ron Wyatt and his discoveries have become a frequent topic of discussion in SDA circles and on the SDAnet. Many people are being blessed by his work, and there are others who are extremely critical. I myself have firsthand knowledge about Ron, because I have been working with him for the past 7 years. A couple months ago I loaned Steve Timm a video of Ron's discoveries and several of his publications. Some of these magazines I helped co-author and illustrate. Ron had seen the previous work I did for Amazing Facts, and that prompted him to ask if I could do some things for him. Now that Steve Timm has posted his "revised" opinion of Ron on the SDAnet, I feel that I need to make some comments.

First of all, I have been extremely shocked to see that many people have made negative comments about Ron . . . without even having seen Ron's books or videos! It seems that even Steve Timm once fell into this category, because back in February he wrote to me that he had never seen any of Ron's videos, yet Steve felt comfortable enough to write that Ron was "a liar and a fraud."

Yet Steve felt comfortable condemning Ron and ridiculing his work! I am totally baffled and mystified as to how people can do this to a brother in Christ. Well, Steve has FINALLY seen some of Ron's video documentation -- I SENT IT TO HIM -- and I put some "special" material on the video that I gave to him. I included some extra footage of Ron's museum that was located inside the Gatlinburg Passion Play Complex in Gatlinburg, TN for 2 1/2 years. I explained that I was both the manager and head curator of this 7,500 square foot museum, and that we were inside a $12 million complex that did 175 wonderful performances each year of the story of Christ, and I explained that I have been able to share this material with the THOUSANDS of people who came to our museum! Accordingly, I have seen ALL of Ron's documentation for ALL of his discoveries, and I know Ron Wyatt very well -- and I insist that this material MUST be seen before people pass judgment or make their comments about Ron or his work.

It is nice to see that Steve Timm has finally stopped calling Ron "a liar and a fraud"! But I am totally mystified how Steve can infer that Ron is "deceiving" himself -- THIS IS NOT THE CASE! I am sorry to have to say this, but it is my opinion that Steve Timm has chosen to be "willingly ignorant" (2 Peter 3:5) of the Truth of what he has seen in the video and books that I shared with him -- THE EVIDENCE FOR EACH OF RON'S DISCOVERIES IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! That is why I agreed to work with Ron these past 7 years, and why I agreed to manage his museum. Because the evidence is 100% solid.

NOAH'S ARK - It's true, Ron's site IS controversial. The remains of the boat have been deteriorating for 4,400 years, and it's NOT in pristine shape! But the FACTS are that Ron is the ONLY PERSON to have ever been given the "official credit for finding the remains of Noah's Ark by the government of Turkey"! THE ONLY PERSON! So whether or not people "agree" with the evidence of the site, it would be nice if people would at least acknowledge the incredible amount of WORK that Ron put into all of this! Over the past 20 years he has made approximately 30 very dangerous trips to Turkey wherein he has been shot at, kidnapped by Kurdish guerillas, beaten up and robbed, etc! It was a MAJOR accomplishment to get the Turkish government to build a Visitor's Center overlooking this site -- and Ron's diligence made this happen! Yes, certain people are now saying that "they no longer believe" that this site is the remains of the Ark -- but they are doing so WITHOUT COMPLETING THE JOB! This issue will NEVER be 100% settled until we can do a FULL-SCALE EXCAVATION. This is all that Ron wants to see done. The surface area of this object is ice-fractured and covered with tons of dirt -- the only way to get to the solid physical evidence is to do a full-scale intrusive excavation.

SODOM & GOMORRAH - Steve Timm's reply to Ron's S&G material was totally incomplete, and the comments he DID make show that he was not paying attention to the material I sent to him. FACT: For the FIRST TIME IN HUMAN HISTORY someone has found literally millions of round SULFUR BALLS with burn marks around them, embedded in an ashened area near the Dead Sea that shows clear evidence of being the remains of manmade structures! Our video CLEARLY explained that Webster's Dictionary defines "brimstone" as being SULFUR, and we know that S&G were destroyed by "fire and brimstone," yet showing SEVERAL amazing examples of sulfur balls with burn marks around them in the natural terrain meant "nothing" to Steve!

I have no reason to disbelieve that what he says are sulfur balls are sulfur balls, but the connection to the current status of the formation is not obvious to me.>>

Ron has found ABSOLUTE TOTAL EVIDENCE that he has located one of the 5 cities of the plain that were destroyed by God with fire and brimstone, just as it says in the Bible. There is NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. Yet Steve doesn't understand that "brimstone" = sulfur?? Please!

RED SEA CROSSING SITE - Steve wonders why there hasn't been "a big news announcement" about this discovery of the coral-covered chariot wheels in the Gulf of Aqaba. The answer is simple. Neither Egypt nor Saudi Arabia want to do anything to help the Jews find the site where Moses crossed the Red Sea, which was a "Jewish victory" over them. The announcement of this site would bring on a lot of Jewish archaeologists.

THE REAL MT. SINAI - It's the SAME THING with the discovery of the burned mountain top in Saudi Arabia! Ron secretly entered Saudi Arabia in 1984 and found TONS of evidence to prove that this is the REAL Mt. Sinai! The discovery has even been double-verified by Larry Williams who went there in 1988, a "professed Christian" who is trying to steal the credit for the discovery. Larry Williams has published a book entitled _The Mountain of Moses, the Discovery of Mt. Sinai_. This book has been advertised often in B.A.R. (NOTE: If anyone wants to see a write up dealing with Larry Williams, I can e-mail it to you.)

Steve Timm's comments about the Mt Sinai discovery are EXTREMELY incomplete. He made NO MENTION of the awesome site of **the burned mountain top of Jebel el Lawz** (the Bible says that God descended upon Mt Sinai in "smoke and fire," and here is the evidence that God's presense burned the top of that mountain peak solid black!), NOR did Steve mention the 100% evidence we have for the Golden Calf Altar, NOR did Steve comment upon the 5-story tall giant split bounder that is on the back side of Mt Sinai which is clearly the giant Rock at Horeb! The evidence shows that RON WYATT HAS FOUND THE REAL MT. SINAI, and many people are in agreement with him. The Saudis know that it's Mt Sinai -- they even built a fence around the area and posted a guard shack to keep people away from the site, and they are doing everything they can to "squelch" the discussion of this discovery. Why? Because they have no interest in doing any faovors for Jews or Christians, and they do NOT want us coming to their country to inspect this mountain.

PYRAMID BUILDING MACHINE - Steve saw this material, but also chose NOT to comment on it. As early as 1979 Ron was over in Egypt setting up samples of his pyramid building machine on their real pyramids, yet I guess that Steve wasn't impressed by this. He refused to comment on it even after I wrote to him and informed him that he neglected to give us his comments.

JOSEPH'S GRAINERY STORAGE BINS - Again, another discovery of Ron's that was submitted to Steve, and again he chose to not respond. IS THIS FAIR? I thought that we were reviewing and studying and analyzing Ron's work to see if he was a "lair" and/or a "fraud"! YET STEVE WON'T COMMENT ON WHAT I HAVE SENT HIM THAT DOCUMENTS RON'S WORK! This is NOT professional, and this is NOT "Christ-like" behavior. For a long time now Steve has been posting negative and derogatory things that have been attacks on Ron Wyatt's character and Ron's godly work, and Steve has done this WITHOUT ever actually "seeing" the video material and the evidence -- I wrote to Steve and said that, "Is this all you plan to do to apologize for all the damage that you have done to Ron's reputation? I think you could do more!" Commenting fully on each of Ron's discoveries would've been the place to start. But Steve instead chose to "duck the issue."

"Closed"?? He thinks the issue is "closed"?? Not with all those people out there saying all those LIES about Ron and Ron's work! It won't be "closed" until people learn to ACT like the professed Christians that they claim to be, and they treat their brothers and sisters in a godly, Christlike manner! Writing and publishing LIES and evil opinions about someone just because he says that he believes that he's found Noah's Ark, etc., is NOT acting properly in accordance with principles of the Bible! God will not be mocked. His eternal principles command us to FULLY INVESTIGATE people's claims, and in NO WAY are we to offer condemning remarks about those people UNTIL THE MATTER IS FULLY INVESTIGATED! Steve may "think" that he has done a diligent job and "fully investigated" things, but has he really? Has he engaged me in a fully detailed discussion? NO. Has he asked Ron any questions about things that he might want clarified? NO. Is Steve saying that he's had enough and is he "slamming the door shut"? YES. I say that this is the totally *wrong* way to go about all of this.

THE ARK OF THE COVENANT - Ron's Ark of the Covenant scenario is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, and every Adventist alive should be able to realize how special it is! RON IS THE ONLY PERSON ON THIS PLANET SAYING THAT THE ARK IS IN A CAVE DIRECTLY UNDER WHERE CHRIST WAS CRUCIFIED, AND THAT CHRIST'S BLOOD WENT ONTO THE MERCY SEAT OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT! Hearing this should send a chill up the spine of any true Adventist -- this is the most AWESOME thing that ever could have happened! Yet a number of Adventists have instead chosen to "mock" and ridicule this scenario, and the man who says that he has seen it with his own eyes. They demand to see his proof, and if Ron doesn't hop to it right then and there and proof it 100% to their insistent satisfaction, then these oh-so-spiritual people start calling Ron a "liar" and a "fraud" --

People, sometime God "tests" us to see whether or not we will react properly to His Truth. He shows us a small portion of His Truth, and withholds the rest until we prove that we are worthy. The way it works with Ron's work is that we have 6 or 7 major discoveries that are totally out in the open and they can be studied and checked out by anyone who wants to make the effort to check them out firsthand. It is my opinion that these discoveries establish the credibility for what Ron says about the Ark of the Covenant. As I have said to thousands of people at the museum, "It is humanly impossible for just 'one man' to have found all of these things. So it shows that it is God who is performing a miracle here, and leading this man to these sites." (And I ALSO tell people that there is nothing special about Ron -- he is merely a person who loves the Lord and is willing to do the foot work and go where the Lord impresses him to go. So ultimately the Lord gets the credit for all of this, NOT Ron.)

Steve does not understand 2 basic things: 1) That he never should've written all those negative things about Ron. 2) Steve seems to have no understanding that Ron's work IS going to be attacked by Satan. The devil is going to raise up all the critically-minded people he can and inspire them to write and speak unwarranted evil statements about Ron and Ron's work. Some people are going to "insinuate" and be "sarcastic," and they are going to feel self-righteous to "put Ron in his place." And many of these people will feel they are still good Christians, and that they are doing God's will. But in reality they are self-deluded and blind to the true work that they are doing. I weep for these people, because eventually they will have to give an account to God for their actions. DO PEOPLE REALIZE HOW DANGEROUS IT CAN BE TO COME AGAINST SOMEONE WHOM THE LORD IS USING TO DO A MIGHTY AND SPECIAL WORK? In many cases it seems not.

THE TRIAL IN AUSTRALIA - David Fasold is a prime example of a demonically-inspired individual who was once "for" the work, but now is suing everybody and coming against Ron's co-workers and Ron's work. The real story is that David Fasold wanted to be "rich" and "famous" about the discovery of Noah's Ark, but he chose to try to do things behind Ron's back and without including Ron, the man who introduced him to this site. God has frustrated Fasold's plans, and given him the reward he deserves: NO financial riches, NO fame and fortune, just disappointment and bitterness. We need to pray that Professor Ian Plimer and David Fasold repent of their ways and come to the Lord.

Again, what Steve Timm and others seem not to understand is that all of these discoveries are a "test" -- they are a test from God to see how faithful we will be to relating to godly things, and a test of how "patient" we will be with seeing "a work in progress." Will we diligently study the material that's available, or will we get impatient and cranky when it doesn't all come forth as we demand that it should? Will we brashly say bad things about a man who is trying to do his best to document these discoveries, or will we be content to merely observe and quietly wait to see how things develop? Ron has made a total of 50+ trips overseas in the past 20 years to do this work -- my question to the critics is, "How many times have YOU gone out of your way to inspect the evidence?" If you have not done a diligent job of studying the material, then your opinion means NOTHING -- and it would be best to keep that opinion to yourself and not post it on the SDAnet or any other Internet forum. If you have a kind and godly word of encouragement to offer, there is always a time and place for those words. Satan's words we can do without.

There are a number of Web sites that are sharing Ron's material from a "positive" perspective. The main one is run by Joel Davenport, at www.RonWyatt.org The negative Websites are clearly operated by those who think they are doing God's work by posting the "lies" and criticisms and half-truths. By all means, read them if you wish, both the good and the bad -- and let's see whether or not you can pass the "test" of discerning which sites are of the Lord and which Websites are inspired by Satan. Good luck! And welcome to the End of Time -- my opinion in the matter is that Ron Wyatt's work is of God, and I look forward to the time when the world community will finally manage to inspect and verify each and all of these discoveries.

Ron is currently working on preparing a new museum. It is located 50 miles south of Nashville, just off of I-65 at Exit 27. It will open sometime in May, if things go smoothly. It's a small, humble museum -- but there is going to be more Truth inside that museum than there is inside the Smithsonian! The Lord is truly going to use the small and the weak and the "foolish things" of the world to "confound the wise" and "the things which are mighty"! Praise the Lord!

Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee . . . " Everybody gets to make his or her own decision. May God help us all and guide our steps.
